Starting from 1977 when South East Asia Insurance came into being and in 2003 when it became Uni.Asia General Insurance, the company has continued to strive with unwavering focus to achieve its targets.

January
Uni.Asia General Insurance Berhad launched FLAS (Financial Link Agency System), a system that enables all intermediaries including agents, bancassurance and business partners to transact motor insurance electronically via the Uni.Asia General Insurance website. This system will function as an additional gateway apart from the GeniSys system launched in 2002.

Uni.Asia General Insurance Berhad revamped and launched its new website reinforcing the Company forward looking and modern positioning in the marketplace. The new website is made more dynamic as information will constantly be uploaded and updated with latest company news as well as new product developments. Its allow customer to gain greater insights into the happenings and offerings of the Company.

Uni.Asia General Insurance Berhad introduced Suzuki Protection Plan, an insurance package that offers a wide range of privileges, assistance and protection exclusively for Suzuki owners.
