A7 Our current facility does not allow us to provide this service. If you do not have an agent who can renew your road tax for you, we can assist by recommending one nearby to provide this service to you.

Q8 Can I purchase the motor policy first and pay later?
A8 No, this is not allowed under the Insurance Act 1996. All motor transactions are subject to "Cash Before Cover" or CBC basis.

Q9 How do you provide the "No Claim Discount" or "NCD"?
A9 For private cars, NCD is categorically provided based on the number of claims-free years as follows:-

3rd Year - 38.33%
4th Year - 45%
5th Year - 55%

A10 Yes. Once you initiate or make a claim for damages to your vehicle, your NCD will automatically revert to zero.

A11 Please contact our Issuing Office where we will arrange to send you a duplicate. However, before sending the duplicate, we will need to verify if the policy was sent to the correct address.

A12 You are allowed one additional "named driver" free of charge. If you want to include more than one driver, the cost is RM10.00 per person.

Q13 What is the benefit of including a "named driver"?
A13 If your policy comes with an "excess" of RM300.00, this is the amount you bear in the event of an accident claim. If your vehicle was in custody or had been driven by someone other than those in the "named driver" list, your excess would be subject to Endorsement 2(f) of your policy. This means you pay twice the excess amount which in this case would be RM600.00.
