Upon receipt of the full documentation from the policyholder, the Uni.Asia branch concerned will register the claim. The panel workshops will send vide the GTS Claims Estimation System (GTS) the images of the damaged vehicle. An in-house adjuster will be assigned to receive the estimate sent in by the workshop and they will authorise the repairs within 24 hours after reviewing the estimate and parts adjustment. Once the claims executive has approved the repairs online, the estimate is transmitted back via the system and the workshop will commence with the repairs. If the claims estimate exceeds RM7,500, independent adjusters will be appointed to conduct an OD Survey and the claim will be subjected to re-inspection before spray painting by the appointed independent adjusters. When the workshop has completed the repairs, the car will be released to the policyholder once a discharge voucher is signed, confirming his satisfaction with the repairs carried out. Uni.Asia General will remit the payment to the workshop via interbank giro transfer, 45 days after the receipt of the final bill and discharge voucher. 2. [No Further Action] A claim for theft will be approved after 3 months from the date of the claim, provided a No Further Action (NFA) report is received from the Police.
