Deep01, a Taiwanese startup that develops software program to assist medical doctors interpret CT mind scans extra shortly, introduced at present that it has raised $2.7 million. The funding was led by PC maker ASUSTek.

Deep01’s product has obtained clearance from each Taiwan and the US’ Meals and Drug Administrations, and the corporate acquired its first buy order, price about $700,000, in February.

Created to be used by emergency departments, Deep01 says its software program can detect acute intracerebral hemorrhage with an accuracy price of 93% to 95%, inside 30 seconds.

The startup was launched in 2016 by founder and CEO David Chou, who earned his Grasp’s Diploma in laptop science at Carnegie Mellon College and was a Harvard College analysis fellow at Massachusetts Normal Hospital between 2018 and 2019.

In a press assertion, Albert Chang, ASUS company vp and co-head of its AIoT Enterprise Group, stated “Deep01 is a number one startup within the AI medical space. The collaboration is promising for sensible medical purposes.”
